Another Day in Paradise

Paradise......maybe. I guess it is all based on perception! I feel so blessed to have an amazing husband and an incredible baby boy who makes my life complete. We live a simple yet cherished life and enjoy spending time together as a family. As long as we are all together it really is.......just another day in paradise.

Chuck E Cheese and Half Marathon!

A fun first was Camden's trip to Chuck E Cheese today! The weather here has been terrible. Very rainy and cold and so Jon and I decided that this would be the perfect time for him to experience Chuck E Cheese! To say the least he loved it.......and of course we did too. He ate lots of pizza and played games. Of course Daddy had to get in on some of the game action as well. He went from one thing to the next and really his favorite was the basketball hoops. He rode all of the toddler rides but didn't seem to impressed......haha! He wanted all of the big kid stuff so of course we tried to make that happen for him!

Enjoying his pizza......YUMMY!

He loved dancing with Chuck E!

We were on Chuck E TV!

He really liked the horse racing.........he didn't quite get how to steer the reins so Daddy had to help.

His favorite game out of all that he played.......he wanted to play this one until the tokens ran out!

Last weekend Jon and I completed the Baltimore Half Marathon which was 13.1 miles! This was a personal goal for me and I was so proud of myself that I could check this off my list. Jon was a great supporter and is actually running his first full marathon this coming weekend and Camden and I will be there to cheer him on. I had stopped training for the half about 8 weeks ago because of knee pain and the Orthopedic surg. thought it was best if I didn't run. I decided the week of the race that I really wanted to do it anyway and thought that I would give it my best. It was a personal goal for me to try to run the entire 13 miles without stopping.......not that walking is bad but it is just something I didn't want to do. And, I am so happy to say that I ran the entire 13 miles without stopping! I am still recovering from knee pain as a result but it was worth it for me to say that I did this! Here are some shots that Danny Cole got for us. They came out to cheer us on at mile 3 along with Camden and Logan.......they were so sweet to watch him for us while we ran and we were so thankful!
