Another Day in Paradise

Paradise......maybe. I guess it is all based on perception! I feel so blessed to have an amazing husband and an incredible baby boy who makes my life complete. We live a simple yet cherished life and enjoy spending time together as a family. As long as we are all together it really is.......just another day in paradise.

Way too long

It has been way too long since I last posted on here. We have had such a fun summer and we had so many great opportunities to hang out with family and friends. We have traveled, hung out at the pool, spent time in the sprinkler and for the most part enjoyed the heat that this summer has brought to us. We also celebrated Camden's 2nd birthday! We had his party at a local park and it was sooo hot that day, but we made it! Thunderstorms were called for but God held off the rain and we celebrated his birthday with lots of friends and a great time was had by all! We are gearing up for the fall schedule and routine which will be bringing a new element. Camden will be starting preschool in a few weeks in a 2's program that he will attend 2 days a week. I am so happy that he will be able to interact, socialize and play with a class of children his age. It will bring him so much joy to be around them and I am looking forward to seeing how he will change and grow during that experience.

We also will be adding to our family as well this winter! Our 2nd baby is due on February 10th and we could not be happier! Camden is thrilled and we know he will make a great big brother. He is very into the baby and will often get his toy stethoscope and put it to my belly to "hear" the baby! So sweet! He will kiss my tummy and talks about the baby often. On our recent trip to Texas is where we told the family (both sides)and Camden was a critical part in that news! He wore a shirt announcing the news to breakfast one morning......the cheers and smiles were priceless!

Here are random summer photos from all around. Cambridge, MD.....Austin, TX.....and right here at home.

Happy Birthday Cam!

At the Hyatt in Cambridge back in June. It turned out not to be the trip that we expected. We spent 1 night in the ER and Cam was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was such a trooper the rest of the weekend.

Antietam and Baker Park for the 4th of July. He LOVED his first pony ride.

At the Hyatt resort in Bastrop, TX

Then it was off to the river house! Such a fun trip and loved getting to spend that time with Jon's family. It is such a gift when we are able to see them.

The soon-to-be big brother...sporting his boots! Priceless photos, priceless trip and it was truly such a blessing to be able to travel and see family. I will try to post more often! With all of the summer fun, blogging got away from me. Hope all of you are enjoying your summer as well!
